Special Arrangements

We can support your activities in a number of ways. Some examples:

Sales Support

One of our hostesses is flown to a harbour outside Malta. There it is her job to arouse enthusiasm among the passengers for your excursion programmes in Malta. Alternatively, she can meet the shore excursion manager before embarkation for a thorough briefing and provide support material (guide books, maps, information leaflets, videos etc). This way you are sure that your passengers will be well informed, and you will sell more excursions!

You will find other possibilities in the made-to-order programmes that we put together on request, particularly for incentive groups.

Incentive Programs

Welcome Band

We can welcome your passengers with the sounds of an 8-piece or even a 16 - piece band dressed in tuxedos. The atmosphere is unforgettable!

Welcome Flowers

We can arrange for your passengers to be greeted by people dressed in folklore costumes. Each disembarking guest will be given a flower.

Souvenir Give-Aways

One of our hostesses comes on board to treat the passenger with a typical Maltese souvenir give-away. Your passengers are sure to appreciate this special service.

Hospitality Tent on the Quay

Since at present there are very limited facilities on the quay, a hospitality tent and hospitality hostess adds a professional touch. This is especially useful when there are overnight stays in the harbour.

Our hostess will welcome disembarking passengers with a smile. She will be equipped with a mobile phone so she could contact one of our support staff should anything need their immediate attention.

We will also stock information leaflets about Malta and display information about art exhibitions, cultural events, and entertainment being held whilst the cruise liner is in Valletta.

We can also arrange to have a Malta Tourism Authority desk officer to answer any questions your passengers may have about Malta.

A Taste of Our Cuisine & Wine

We can arrange for a renowned Maltese Chef to come on board and prepare typical Maltese specialities and perhaps also make a demonstration (if time permits).

Alternatively, we can organise delivery of delicious Maltese cocktail-size Pastizzi (cheese cakes). These are delicious local savoury snacks filled with either ricotta cheese or with peas. Or we can arrange for a traditional Maltese baker to deliver our mouthwatering Maltese bread for dinner. We Maltese think that our bread is the best in the world. You will probably agree with us once you have tasted it.

Photography

We can commission various experienced photographers to take shots of your cruise liner in the Grand Harbour, as well as of any event on the quay or on board. We can also arrange aerial photographs. We will need to know what format is required and we can provide the images on a CD-ROM.

Other Services

Postcards with lovely Maltese scenes can be purchased on your behalf and sent to the ship prior to arrival to Malta. We can arrange to have them printed with your logo (minimum order 5000). A Watercolour and limited edition Prints of your cruise liner with the magnificent Grand Harbour as a backdrop can be commissioned by us from one of the most talented local maritime artists.

These could be prepared in advance of the visit to Malta and sold on board the ship. (We take photographs of every cruise ship that we represent when in Malta so we have a stock of images to reproduce).

Guest speakers, ranging from University Professors to experts highly specialized in their fields (e.g. Archaeology, Art, History) can be engaged to deliver talks either on board the ship or at a venue to be arranged. Local entertainment can be arranged on board the liner or on the quay.
